Hello, I’m Kevan Moothien, a Salesforce Architect and Director of Operations at SharinPix, a company building solutions for offline forms, field data capture, and image management on Salesforce.

With over 12 years in IT consulting, I’ve built up deep experience in Salesforce architecture, development, and integrations. Most of that time has been in the ISV space — designing and maintaining AppExchange solutions, managing package architecture, and working through the messier problems around multi-org deployments, licensing, and platform scalability.

I work mainly in Apex and Lightning Web Components, with a growing focus on AI-driven automation. At SharinPix, I spend most of my time on architecture and integrations, with a particular focus on mobile and field-based workflows where performance and reliability actually matter. Security and compliance are part of that too — we work to ISO 27001 standards.

Outside the technical side, I’m involved in the Salesforce community. I lead the Salesforce Developer User Group in Mauritius, organizing meetups that bring local professionals together to share what they’re working on. I’ve also spoken at Dreamforce and the Agentforce Community Tour. In 2022 I was recognized as a Salesforce MVP, something I’m genuinely proud of.

When I’m not doing any of the above, I’m usually into photography or keeping an eye on where AI and automation are heading next.
